Style & Design

Since its big redesign in 2016, the Honda Civic has been sporting a more aggressive and athletic look, and this mid-cycle refresh continues that direction. The 2019 Civic has a wider stance and a new gloss-black grille, and if you get the Sport you'll have bold 18-inch wheels and a center-stacked exhaust.  With all these new, muscular changes, the Honda Civic would even make Santa Monica's Muscle Beach regulars a little envious!

All Civic trims have a premium feel thanks to a dash layout that blends touchscreen features and buttons for climate and volume control, all without getting too busy. For additional refinement you can opt for a leather-trimmed interior that covers the seats, steering wheel, and shift knob.

Comfort & Technology

California residents spend a lot of time in their vehicles, so comfort is key. All Honda Civic models have enhanced sound insulation, and on the upper trims you can get power-adjusting seats for a more ergonomic commute. There are heated seats for those few cool months in Santa Monica, but we think you'll get the most use out of the sunroof.

For tech, we love that trims with a touchscreen also receive Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™ smartphone capabilities. Another major change is that all trims now come standard with the Honda Sensing® package of advanced safety technologies! When driving in busy Los Angeles, you'll appreciate the adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning, which are just a few of the Honda Sensing® technologies. Enjoy traveling around this great state? Then, we suggest getting your Civic with navigation and a premium sound system for all your playlists.

The Civic LX and new Sport trim both have a 2.0L engine with 158 horsepower. You can choose between a 6-speed manual or a CVT for those who prefer automatic. The EX, EX-L, and Touring trims have a more powerful 1.5L turbocharged engine with 175 horsepower and a standard CVT. Both options offer plenty of power for the vehicle's size, but if you want to regularly cruise the scenic PCH drive that starts in Santa Monica, we suggest the turbo.
