Honda recently reported that customers could expect to see the 2020 Honda CR-V at dealerships later this fall, with the compact SUV bearing fresh styling touches, added features, and improved powertrains. The company also revealed that the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, the first hybrid electric SUV from Honda, is being built at the company's plant in Greensburg, IN.

The 2020 Honda CR-V enjoys updated front and rear exterior styling, along with new wheel designs. HondaSensing® comes standard on all trim levels, and the 1.5-liter turbocharged VTEC® four-cylinder engine is also standard for every model.

The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, which we anticipate offering in our new Honda inventory early next year, maintains its connection to its more traditionally-powered sibling. Power is generated by a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle engine that teams to two electric motors. Smart placement of the vehicle's battery pack and control systems allows this model to still provide owners with ample passenger and cargo space.

In a press release, Henio Arcangeli, Jr., senior vice president of Automobile Sales at American Honda Motor Co., Inc., stated, "The Honda CR-V is the best-selling CUV over the past two decades and the updates we've made to the 2020 model, including a new hybrid-electric variant, solidify its position as a leader in the compact SUV market. The CR-V Hybrid also signifies our direction to bring Honda hybrid-electric technology to all core models and to invest in the production of electrified vehicles in America."
